| We have used mulch for several years at the fairs with no problems. This year i notcied they ate quite a bit of it. With the state fair coming up i am wondering what we could do. Is there anything you could spray on the mulch so they wont like the taste? or is carpet the only answer? If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it!

Maybe try the anti-cribbing spray the crazy horse owners use to keep their horses from chewing wood around their barns and corrals.
Maybe vinegar? I can't believe they wont allow muzzles, we used to attend a show that absolutely wouldn't allow them until one of the lambs choked on a corn dog stick some child had thrown in the pen. After that incident muzzles were allowed, as long as you also had a sign which stated the reasons you had your animal muzzled.

Just to let everyone know vineger does work. We diluted it with water and only had to spray the mulch twice in four days. The smell was not very noticable at all.

| Can you spray vinegar on their bedding at home too? My lambs don't eat good of a morning and I think it is because they munch on shavings during the night.
