| If you purchase sheep from any Georgia Club Lamb member we have several shows you can attend. Thereare also several other shows Alabama folks attend. Contact the Georgia Club Lamb Association officers for when the sale will be in Perry, Georgia. You can find our officers names and contact numbers on Club Lamb Page. Good Luck!

| There are several states like that one thing we ran into is they have to be a 4-H or FFA member in that state to participate. Id Georgia like this?

| If you purchase a lamb from a Georgia Club Lamb Assoc. member you can show at the GCLPA Show that is held in July at Perry. I think you can show at the Heard Co. Show and the show in Carrollton GA. There is always people from AL at these two shows. Don't know about shows in South GA. The GCLPA sale will be in Perry in May. Several breeders that haven't been selling in the sell will be there. That would be the place to go to look for sheep.

| Clinton is about 15-20 minutes north of Knoxville off I-75. Good facility and easy to find (Anderson Co. Fairgrounds) This will be a prospect show. The oldest lambs will probably be January '07. The judge is not final yet but we plan to post all the info on clublambpage.com under Upcoming Shows. Stay tuned.

| What age of ewe lambs can be shown? How will the showmanship classes be broken down? Is there plenty of room for grooming and penning the sheep? Will the pens be first come first served or will the pens be assigned to those that pre-reg?

| Bring ewe lambs or yearlings. You can show the ewe lambs both ways (as market lambs and as ewes). Pens are first come first served. plenty of room. I believe showmanship will be in 3 divisions- grades 1-4, 5-8, 9-12.

You don't need an entry blank. Write your info on a sheet of paper and how many lambs in each category and send a check to Mr. Joe Hall who is the Extension director in Anderson County. Here is the link with the address and info.
