We should have some good heifers to pick from this year. I know we have about 9 fall heifers that are all solid.
If you want any more info, email me at smcfarland@centracoretrust.com.

| Where are you located? I would try and find good cattle that are close to home.

| Why not try Mark Ray, Todd Caldwell, Mike Houston, or Jim Bloomberg. They are all located near Macomb, IL. About 3 hours from St. Louis. Gary Starman might be able to help as well. He is around Quincy.

Gabe,
All of our fall ET calves will be close to you in three weeks. They are at our ET farm in SD and will be then moved to Bingham Lake, MN at my sister's place. That shouldn't be too far from you. They are going to take all the calves, clip them up and break them before we sell them this spring. First come, first get.
Again, email me if you want any more details. Our website is http://www.diamondmshorthorns.com.

Gabe,
If you are in SE MN, the Bollum Family from Goodhue, MN would be really close, and I think S-CO is up near the cities. They always have a good set to look through, with great genetics, and prices in the spring and summer should be reasonable. Plus they are always willing to work with younger exhibitors and their purchases, at least they did for me. I think their website is http://www.shorthornpride.com. Top notch people to work with.

Has anybody heard of TLF shorthorns from cresco Iowa. I heard they have or had some great hiefers from there last batch of calves. I cant remember what bull they used but just been hearing a lot about them. I do know that they bought a son of Sunny last year and thats what they used so im really curious of what kind of calves they will be getting this year. Just wondering if anybody out there knows anything about them. What kind of cows they have or any info at all. Thats just the talk around my part of there woods. Also i know that they are showing a great heifer at the National Junior Beef Expo in Des Monies Iowa in June so i might be going to see what everybody is talking about.
Thanks
Gabe
